Northwest Health Foundation

January 24 – The Northwest Health Foundation has named Donalda Dodson to its governing board of directors, following a selection process overseen by its nominating committee. Dodson is executive director of the Oregon Child Development Coalition, one of the largest early childhood care and education networks in Oregon, and the state’s sixth largest non-profit organization. The Coalition serves over 4,000 children and families in 13 Oregon counties each year. Previously, she was administrator of the Oregon Office of Family Health.

February 10, 2012 -- As part of its annual grant initiative funding projects, The Kaiser Permanente Community Fund awarded more than $2 million in grant funds to aid 19 organizations that address the social determinants of health in Oregon and Southwest Washington. The Kaiser Permanente Community Fund is a philanthropic partnership between Kaiser Permanente Northwest and the Northwest Health Foundation.
