The ideal Program Manager for Rural Recruitment & Retention (R&R) has experience in rural clinics/hospitals working to find the health care providers that rural Oregon needs and engages them with the health systems and the communities where they will work. This is a job for an outgoing, collaborative person who works well independently, and knows how to engage with candidates and those who are seeking new staff. Summary This position is responsible for assisting with the development and maintenance of a comprehensive health service delivery system, including behavioral health and the Early Learning Hub, providing high quality and cost-effective service to YCCO members.
As Associate State Director, Outreach and Advocacy, based in the Portland metro region, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the AARP Community Presence work in the region. You will engage AARP members, volunteers, targeted audiences in multicultural communities, stakeholders, partners, and policy makers to advance AARP priorities. You will work closely with staff and volunteer team members to develop and implement local, state, and federal advocacy campaigns and identify and create innovative and engaging member experiences that advance AARP’s strategic priorities.
