Oregon Rural Action is a force for progressive public policy and grass-roots democracy in Oregon. ORA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working to promote social justice, agricultural and economic sustainability. They empower people by providing information and tools for addressing the issues affecting our communities. They are a member group of the Western Organization of Resource Councils.
The Staff Director manages the day-to-day operation of ORA’s grassroots organizing. The Staff Director implements policy and action decisions made by the Board of Directors and decisions made by the general membership during the Annual Membership Meeting or other general membership meetings.
