The Oregon Pediatric Society needs an Administrative Coordinator. This core administrative position provides an array of office, bookkeeping, and database functions, including accounts payable/receivable, meeting and conference logistics, member database maintenance, member communications, and executive support. The Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for the tracking and reporting of all data related to membership. This person will also oversee the logistics of member and board events, including the spring Continuing Medical Education conference and fall board retreat.

The Oregon Pediatric Society is the state chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the leading U.S. child health advocacy and pediatric medical professional organization. OPS strives to create an organizational culture that pursues continuous quality improvement, health equity, teamwork, productivity, and opportunities for professional growth. OPS works in partnership with the AAP and the state’s child health providers; pediatric and family practice medical clinics; health systems; the Oregon Health Authority; Coordinated Care Organizations; the State Legislature; public health; and community organizations to pursue the organization’s mission of advocating for the optimal health of all children and youth, while supporting their families and the physicians who care for them.
