The role of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) is one of clinical oversight and executive level responsibility for medical decisions. At Metropolitan Pediatrics, the CMO oversees clinical leadership in order to ensure and promote high quality medical care and drive targeted results in the areas of clinical quality outcomes, compliance, patient/physician satisfaction, and patient safety.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
This role carries full executive responsibility for clinical oversight and performance across a multi-location, high-volume pediatric organization. You will be part of a highly collaborative executive team and supportive, aligned board of pediatrician owners.
Specific skills include but are not limited to:
Exceptional professional written and verbal communication skills to a variety of levels with a variety of constituencies; able to modify approach to target audience; good at instilling horizontal and vertical communications throughout the organization. Relationship builder with all stakeholders; consistency of message, regardless of audience; participatory decision-making style, but decisive when necessary; strong listening skills; guards against groupthink; understands the culture of smaller communities; intuitive; direct.
Excellent influencing skills and ability to effectively manage sensitive/challenging interpersonal and organizational situations.

Required Education and / or Certifications:
Minimum Credentials Required:
Graduate of a 4-year accredited US Medical School or equivalent.
Current active and unrestricted license as a medical physician with preference for a board-certified pediatrician.
Leadership experience at the executive level with MBA, MPH, or other additional graduate designations preferred.
