October 14, 2016

Dr. Jeanette Mladenovic, M.B.A., M.A.C.P., intends to retire as executive vice president and provost at Oregon Health & Science University at the end of the year.

Making the announcement Oct. 3, she cited the increasing challenges of her distributed family, according to Tamara Hargens-Bradley, associate director of media relations in OHSU’s Strategic Communication Department.

In fiscal 2015, Mladenovic’s base pay was $574,726.02; her taxable expense reimbursement was $1,055.09, her benefits amounted to $12,106.42 and she had $32,975.20 in retirement funds.

Elena Andresen, Ph.D., who previously served as interim dean of the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health, has been named as interim provost.

OHSU’s board will hold its next meeting on Oct. 27, and the agenda has not yet been announced.
