The Lund Report is pleased to announce that a group of anonymous donors has proffered a generous matching grant challenge to our organization. As part of this challenge, all donations given to The Lund Report between June 1, 2015 and Oct. 31, 2015, with the exception of premium subscriptions, will be doubled up to $31,000.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today!
The Lund Report hopes to take full advantage of this challenge grant to execute our long-range plans for growth and stability. The last 18 months have brought numerous opportunities and positive change our way. We have introduced new mechanisms for earning revenue, including premium subscriptions, event sponsorships, and a job board. Our leadership is also moving toward permanent office facilities and new hires to create a more robust organization overall. In addition, The Lund Report has extended its reach and influence through strategic partnerships with other journalistic outlets in the region.
The changes, however, have increased our need to fund our technology and web development teams and the operational costs that come with our expanded reach. And despite our new capacity to earn revenue, over half of our operating budget continues to come from donations from devoted readers like you.
We are looking to the generosity of our readers to help us reach our goal by the end of October. Will you support us? Individuals who give $25 or more and organizations who give $100 or more have the option of being named as donors on our website. (You can also choose to remain anonymous).
In addition, your donation is tax deductible, as The Lund Report is recognized as a 501(c)(3) by the IRS. Every donation will be met with our gratitude and will ensure that we are here to bring you more of the in-depth healthcare journalism you value.
Help us meet this generous challenge grant by either making a tax deductible donation online, using your credit card or send a check to The Lund Report at POB 82841, Portland 97282. Either way I’ll be pleased to send a receipt for tax purposes.
Thanks for believing in what we do and helping us remain the most vital source of health news!
