Ken Cole has become the director of marketing and communication for the Oregon Medical Association following the departure of Betsy Boyd-Flynn who held a similar position before leaving to join the Oregon Health Quality Corporation as program manager.
Since 1998 Cole had been chief communication officer at PeaceHealth Southwest Washington Medical Center, which earlier was known as Southwest Washington Medical Center. He's on the board of the Healthcare Communicators of Oregon and earned his bachelor's degree in journalism and political science from the University of Oregon.
