Cynthia Finter, senior vice president of payer strategy, innovation and operations, will be leaving PeaceHealth on Feb. 28, according to an announcement by Beth O’Brien, chief operating officer, who said Finter brought “high value to our vital relationships with health plans and other payers.”

Finter, who joined PeaceHealth a year ago, also worked with Columbia United Providers as interim CEO. She steps down from that position on Feb. 29.

“It has been nothing short of a pleasure working at PeaceHealth.” According to Finter. “I met some truly amazing people and built wonderful relationships, all while enjoying the beauty of the Northwest. I was delighted to experience the PeaceHealth Mission, which is even more deeply felt and believed than one could ever know as an outsider. It’s so inspiring and real. Thank you for allowing me to experience that first-hand.”

Finter intends to return home to Kansas City and to her consulting business. “We will truly miss her commitment to the PeaceHealth Mission as well as her innovative work with payers and other providers in the communities we serve,” O’Brien said.

Before joining PeaceHealth, Finter worked for Kaiser Permanente in a similar capacity.
