Double Your Impact by Making a Donation Today

There’s no better time to make a donation to The Lund Report. Your year-end contribution will make a huge difference in achieving our $25,000 challenge grant.
December 28, 2016

We only need another $1,500 to meet our challenge grant, but have a short time frame, and need to bring in those dollars by year end on Saturday.

Since its inception in 2009, The Lund Report has been the most vital source of news about Oregon’s healthcare industry. And we’ve never accepted contributions from special-interest groups.

Unlike other media outlets, you’ll never see an advertisement before getting access to our breaking news stories.

Once again The Lund Report is credited with bringing yet another breaking news development to the surface.

This time it was our legislative reporter, Chris Gray, who discovered that James Raussen, who had been hired to run the Oregon Educators Benefit Board, had a checkered past, having ties to a former boss now in prison when he was a consultant in the Chicago comptroller’s office.

Dave Fiore, a former OEBB member, attributed Gray for bringing this development lo the board’s attention in an article in the Portland Tribune on Tuesday.

Raussen resigned six months later following an investigation by the Oregon Health Authority and supposedly accepted illegal gifts and improperly spent state funds.

We intend to remain independent and courageous in the coming year. But we need your help today. Your tax deductible contribution of $25, $50, $100, or more, will allow us to keep producing the high-quality news you’ve come to expect from The Lund Report!

You can either make your year-end gift online at https://www.thelundreport.org/donate or send a check to The Lund Report at POB 82841, Portland 97282, and we’ll be pleased to send you a receipt for tax purposes. Since its inception, The Lund Report has been recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization.

And you can be assured we’ll keep bringing you the most updated informative news each and every week.

Thanks for believing in what we do!
