The opioid epidemic has garnered everyone’s attention with public officials, policymakers, providers and payers trying to wrestle with this difficult dilemma.

To bring this issue to the forefront, Oregon Health Forum, in collaboration with the National College of Natural Medicine, is hosting a breakfast forum on Wednesday, August 24. The event gets underway at NUNM’s Radelen Hall, located at 2719 SW Kelly in Portland.

We’re bringing together a panel of experts to delve into this complex issue:

  • Dr. Katrina Hedberg, MPH, Health Officer & State Epidemiologist, State of Oregon
  • Dr. John Muench, MPH, Director of Behavioral Medicine, Department of Family Medicine, Oregon Health & Science University
  • Dr. Andrew Suchocki, Medical Director for Clackamas Federally Qualified Health Center
  • Dr. Paul Lewis, MPH, Metro Portland Health Officer
  • Dr. Kevin Wilson, ND, Private Practice Hillsboro and faculty at NUNM,
  • Krista Nelson, MSW LCSW OSW-C, Providence Cancer Center
  • Dr. Regina Dehen, ND. Lac., CMO and Dean of Clinics for NUNM, will be our moderator.
