Consumer warning: As health care enrollment ends, beware of nontraditional health plans that are not available on HealthCare.gov
Complaints are on the rise from Oregonians being lured into purchasing nontraditional health insurance plans.
(Salem) -- The deadline is near for people who want health insurance in 2018, but don't get coverage through their job or another program. Open enrollment at HealthCare.gov ends at midnight on Dec. 15, about two weeks away.
Salem -- Oregonians can now see the state's preliminary decisions for rates for 2018 individual and small employer health insurance plans.

(Salem) -- Starting today, Oregon's Health CO-OP members in the individual market can purchase a plan from a new carrier and get credit for any money they have paid toward their deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums.
Salem -- The Department of Consumer and Business Services announced today the merging of the Insurance Division and Division of Finance and Corporate Securities into one division. The new division, named the Division of Financial Regulation, became effective on Jan. 1, 2016.
