Rachel Solotaroff, M.D. receives national honor.
Rachel Solotaroff, Medical Director for Central City Concern, located in Portland Oregon, received the Karen Rotondo Award for Outstanding Service today at the National Healthcare for the Homeless Conference that draws more than 800 medical and housing professionals from across the country.
Central City Concern will celebrate the 5th Anniversary of its award-winning program, Community Volunteer Corps, in conjunction with a graduation ceremony for individuals who have completed the program, on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, from 2:00-3:30 p.m. Location is Old Town Recovery Center, 33 NW Br
Central City Concern’s Old Town Clinic recently received a donation of an IntelliCab™ System, a medication storage and sophisticated tracking system that utilizes radio frequency identification system technology, and a $300,000 grant from the Mitzvah Fund of the Oregon Community Foundation.
December 31, 2012 – John Bischof, M.D., joined Central City Concern’s Old Town Recovery Center as Medical Director on December 4th. Dr. Bischof brings to CCC a wealth of knowledge and experience in many settings, including community mental health, academia, and the public and private sectors. Dr. Bischof most recently worked at OptumHealth Behavioral Solutions for five years in various director roles.
