PORTLAND, Ore. (Aug. 14, 2015)—National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) President David J. Schleich, PhD, and the college’s Global Health Program Co-Chair Tabatha Parker, ND, were both honored Aug.
John Weeks, renowned author and staunch advocate for integrative medicine and healthcare, will deliver the keynote address to the 2015 National College of Natural Medicine graduating class at the medical college’s commencement ceremony to be held Sunday, June 28, at the Oregon Convention Center. Weeks will receive an honorary Doctor of Letters degree for his longstanding work in advancing the integration of the fields of natural medicine and conventional Western medicine.
The National Institutes of Health, through the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH), has awarded $3,092,898 to the Helfgott Research Institute at the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) for two five-year complementary integrative health (CIH) research grants.
