Kat Holman Mastrangelo

Kat Holman Mastrangelo is the executive director of the Volunteers in Medicine free clinic for the uninsured, which serves Deschutes, Crook and Jefferson counties. Prior to working at VIM, she managed specialty medical practices, worked in local government and hospital management in Peoria, Illinois, and in health insurance policy at Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield in Indianapolis. She has lived in Bend for 20 years and is active on the boards of the National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics, the VIM Institute, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Central Oregon, City Club of Central Oregon, is a member of the Operations Council of the Central Oregon Health Council, as well as the City of Bend Budget committee. She holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Indiana University, and a BS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
