November 4, 2013
ZoomCare, the innovative healthcare company that’s building the world's first neighborhood clinic and smart phone-based healthcare system has opened its newest clinic at 1662 NW 23rd Avenue.    ZoomCare now has a total of 21 clinics in Oregon, Washington and Idaho, including 15 in Portland, one in Salem, one in Vancouver, three in Seattle and one in Boise. In addition, ZoomCare offers online visits via Skype called ZoomCare TakeOut®.    Patients have responded enthusiastically to ZoomCare innovations in providing convenient, complete primary care for a broad range of illnesses, injuries and preventive care with pharmacy  dispensing services. When specialists are needed, patients can use a live scheduler (www.zoomcare.com) to lock in their time at a nearby clinic.    The NW 23rd clinic will be open five days a week and soon expand to seven days a week. A board-certified clinical team, consisting of physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants will diagnose and treat a wide range of illnesses and injuries and provide in-depth wellness exams to adults and children alike.  “NW 23rd is an ideal location for ZoomCare since it already has a strong base of ZoomCare patients and a growing number of employers who want access to excellent care at affordable  prices,” said Co-Founder and Co-CEO Dave Sanders, M.D.  Portland, Oregon based ZoomCare is a privately-held company started in 2006 by David Sanders M.D. and Albert DiPiero M.D. The ZoomCare Foundation operates a free clinic supporting  monthly “ZoomCare Free Nights” to diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries at ZoomCare’s Mississippi Ave. clinic (3872 N. Mississippi, Portland).
