Volunteers in Medicine Seeks Spanish Speaking Volunteers

September 1, 2015

Bend, Ore. – August 31, 2015 Volunteers in Medicine Clinic of the Cascades (VIM) is looking for Spanish speaking volunteers who are interested in donating their time in our Bend clinic. Volunteer opportunities include working as a clinical interpreter, front desk scheduler or as an eligibility screener.

VIM provides healthcare at no cost to low-income uninsured adults who live and work in the tri-county area. Gain valuable work experience while volunteering in a medical setting, even if you have no medical expertise. Clinic hours are offered at varying times Monday through Friday, with the average volunteer working a 4-5 hour shift each week.

To volunteer, you must be at least 18 years old, speak English and Spanish, know how to use a computer, and be willing to make an ongoing regular commitment to volunteer.

If you are conscientious, hard-working and love to help people, VIM is the place for you!

Join us at one of our upcoming volunteer orientations this September:

Monday, September 14, 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Tuesday, September 22, 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
