BEND, OR – Andrew Levy, executive vice-president of client relations with Bend-based Vantage Clinical Solutions, recently completed the Executive Program in Private Practice Management with a Post-Professional Doctorate in Physical Therapy with the Evidence In Motion (EIM) Institute of Health Professionals.
The program is an MBA-style, 12-month educational program for physical and occupational therapists that provides training in practice management and business administration. It is the first program of its kind within the profession, according to EIM, and is designed to “enhance the business savvy and sophistication of private practice physical therapy by teaching evidence-based business.”
Levy’s EIM training included advanced coursework in radiology, medical screening, pharmacology and evidence-based practice.
A management consultant with Vantage Clinical Solutions since 2008, Levy joined the ownership team as a partner in 2011.This latest accomplishment further enhances a career that already boasts more than 30 years of experience in practice ownership, private equity and health care management. Levy holds academic degrees in biology and physical therapy and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Colorado.

A licensed physical therapist, Levy owned, developed and managed a network of outpatient rehabilitation facilities and provider networks in Colorado for two decades. He also managed regional outpatient providers for several national industry consolidators, holding a number of executive positions within several health care companies.
