Vancouver, Wash.- The Clark County Law Enforcement Officers' and Fire Fighters' Disability Board is seeking a local resident to serve a two-year term as an at large member beginning Aug. 1, 2017.
The volunteer board meets from 1:15-2:15 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month in the Human Resources office on the fifth floor of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.
The five-member board establishes rules, procedures and administrative policies to ensure compliance with provisions of RCW 41.26, the Law Enforcement Officers' and Fire Fighters' Retirement System Act. Duties include determining medical claims reimbursement, approving disability leave and retirement requests, and evaluating and amending coverage under the provisions of the program.
