Trillium CCO Board to Host a Community Conversation

April 24, 2013

April 24, 2013 –The progress of the Lane County Coordinated Care Organization (CCO) will be discussed by select members of the Trillium CCO Board this week in a public format. The agenda will include information regarding behavioral health integration, The Community Health Improvement Project, Prevention initiatives and the Patient Centered Primary Care Home. Board members look forward to questions and comments from the community.   The public is invited to attend a Community Conversation with the Trillium CCO Board April 25, 6-7:30 pm at Hilyard Community Center, 2580 Hilyard Street, Eugene. The event is wheelchair accessible. Spanish interpretation and deaf and hard of hearing services are available by request 48 hours in advance.   “The Community Conversation is designed to provide an update to the public regarding the work of the CCO on healthcare transformation in Lane County,” says Terry Coplin, CEO. “The goal of this public dialogue is to discuss our progress and hear input from the community as we move forward with transformation. The public’s voice is a critical part of our efforts."   Trillium Community Health Plan, the CCO in Lane County, began serving OHP members August 1, 2012. The Trillium CCO Board has plans for additional Community Conversations this year to inform the public of the CCOs progress and to receive public comment.
