November 28, 2012 -- The first coordinated care organizations (CCO) started in Oregon on August 1, 2012 in several areas of the state. Now, about 90 percent of Oregon Health Plan members are served by a CCO.

The Oregon Health Policy Board is holding an extended public meeting in December focused on the new coordinated care organizations. Oregon Health Plan members, community stakeholders, and the general public are invited to attend or watch online.

The format will give OHP members and stakeholders a way to provide input on how these changes have affected them and how we can continue to move forward together toward a healthier Oregon.

When: Tuesday, Dec. 11 -- 1 to 4:30 p.m.

Where: The Board wants to receive input from every part of the state. To that end, the meeting will be broadcast live from the Multnomah County Commissioner's office: 501 Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard in Portland.

There will also be several other locations set up around the state so that people can gather and participate in facilitated conversations. More details about those locations will be coming soon.

Details will be available on the OHPB website. People can also choose to submit comments in writing before the meeting by emailing [email protected] by 5 p.m. December 5.
