Regence Welcomes Angela Dowling as Vice President of Oregon Sales

She joined the company on May 7.Angela comes to Regence with an extensive senior sales leadership background, most recently with Payne Financial Group, Inc., one of the largest independently owned insurance agencies in the United States. Based in Helena, Montana, she served as Chief Revenue Officer.

May 11, 2012 -- Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon is pleased to welcome Angela Dowling as vice president of sales. She joined the company on May 7.

Angela comes to Regence with an extensive senior sales leadership background, most recently with Payne Financial Group, Inc., one of the largest independently owned insurance agencies in the United States. Based in Helena, Montana, she served as Chief Revenue Officer.

Before her 10 years with Payne financial, Angela worked as strategic sales director at United Health Care in New York City, business development officer at Hewitt Associates in New York City, and vice president of marketing at Aetna Health Plans in Philadelphia.

“Angela is a proven talent with a 25-year track record of delivering results at the highest industry levels,” said Don Antonucci, Oregon market president. “She has displayed, time and again, a unique ability to develop highly functioning sales teams. I have the utmost confidence that her leadership will help us build on the success that our Oregon plan has already enjoyed.”

Dowling is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree. Her professional affiliations include the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and Sitkins International member and advisor, and past memberships in Assurex Global, Assurant MVP and UNUM Producer Advisory. She has served
Montana’s Department of Insurance as an advisor, lobbyist and stakeholder council member for the Affordable Care Act.
