People rely on us to provide great service and quality health care benefits – for nearly 100 years we’ve done just that for millions of Washingtonians.

Six years ago we experienced temporary service issues that affected some of our customers and providers. This coincided with a complex technology and system upgrade. We took immediate action and resolved all issues in 2012 as validated by an audit conducted in collaboration with the OIC. We truly regret any inconvenience this caused.

Today, our current operations are strong and we consistently rank in the top 10 among Blue plans nationally for operational excellence and best-in-class service excellence. Nothing is more important to us than providing high quality, cost effective care to the 1.1 million people we serve in Washington state.
