Press Release: Registration Is Live For The Oregon Office Of Rural Health’s 4th Annual Forum On Aging In Rural Oregon!

The Forum on Aging in Rural Oregon is the only event in Oregon focused on aging in rural and frontier communities, and it has a loyal following of health care and social service providers from all parts of the state. The event provides a forum where attendees can share and learn about practical community-based solutions to challenges affecting rural and frontier community members. Registration

The full two-and-a-half-day Forum is $225 per person; the Pre-Forum half day workshop as a standalone is $25; and discounts for Forum registration are available for students and community elders on a fixed income.

Pre-Forum Workshop

This half day workshop prefaces the Forum and can be attended as a standalone, but it is also included with regular Forum registration. This workshop was created with the long-term care providers in mind and will delve into:

  • Assistive Technology
  • Vicarious Trauma & the Long-Term Care Provider: How to Support Mental Wellness in the Care Provider
