Northwest Health Foundation has a new president and chief executive officer: Jesse Beason.

Beason has worked at Northwest Health Foundation since August 2013, most recently as vice president of strategy and public affairs. He was selected through a national search, conducted by Nonprofit Professionals Advisory Group and guided by the NWHF board of directors’ search committee. Nonprofit Professionals Advisory Group connected with hundreds of community partners and potential candidates during the process.

“Jesse’s experience and expertise in policy and electoral work, his established relationships with community leaders and organizations throughout our region, and his bold vision for the Foundation’s future, among other qualities, distinguished him as the best candidate for the job,” said Northwest Health Foundation Board Chair Phil Wu.

“I believe strongly in Northwest Health Foundation’s vision of health. I am honored and humbled to further this vision in my new role, alongside a staff of such integrity and a board that is unabashed about ending inequity,” said Beason.
