School exclusion day is coming up. On February 19, children who are not up to date on vaccinations will be unable to attend school. If your child is missing vaccines, it's time to catch up!
The law requires children in schools, preschools and child care facilities to be immunized or have a documented exemption. Parents will be sent a letter if their child’s vaccination records are incomplete. To avoid missing school or child care, get your child up to date on their shots as soon as possible. Where to Get Your Child Vaccinated
You can get your child’s shots at their regular health care provider. If your child doesn’t have a regular health care provider or you can’t get an appointment, here are three easy ways to make sure and get up-to-date.
Visit our walk-in clinics at the East County Building, 600 NE 8th St, Gresham:
Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2 to 6 p.m.

All children ages 5-18 can get vaccinations at one of eight locations for no out-of-pocket charge.
We’re located at local high schools, but you don’t need to attend school there to get care.
We accept all types of insurance, including Kaiser. But we also serve children who are not insured.

If you receive a letter from school or the Health Department, bring it with you when you take your child to be vaccinated.
