Portland Restaurants Feature Healthy Menu Options at the Brian Grant Foundation's Plates for Parkinson's Event

Event supports the Brian Grant Foundation's Parkinson's programs 

WHAT: The Brian Grant Foundation (BGF) will host its first annual Plates for Parkinson's event, bringing together local restaurants and markets to feature small bites of menu options that support a healthy lifestyle for people living with the disease. Approximately 250 guests will have the opportunity to sample the cuisine, enjoy music and drinks, and mingle with Brian Grant and friends. The event will raise awareness and support for BGF's nutrition and exercise programs for people living with Parkinson's.

WHO: Established in 2010, the Brian Grant Foundation (BGF) helps people live better with Parkinson's through exercise, nutrition, and a supportive community. BGF was founded by NBA idol Brian Grant, who was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson's in 2008 at the age of 36.
