Cannabis and athletics are at the forefront of a booming marijuana industry. In areas of consumer products and services as well as health, science and medicine, cannabis is finding its way into every conversation. As the world wakes up to the benefits of this medicinal plant, the enormous changes it can make to an individual’s life and the very little side effects when compared to pharmaceutical or performance enhancing drugs, the case for cannabis and athletics is proven stronger by the day.

Leading the way on this new frontier is 420 Games Founder, Jim McAlpine. Other ventures for McAlpine include New West Summit - the first ever cannabis conference for technology, investment and media, Power Plant Fitness – the world’s first cannabis gym coming to San Francisco in 2017, Cannathlete – the edible line to support a healthy lifestyle and the snowsports marketing company Snowbomb. He is scheduled to moderate the upcoming panel, Cannabis & Athletics: A New Paradigm Shift, in March 2017 at SXSW Conference in Austin, TX. Bringing innovation to the cannabis industry by way of creative ideas in service, events, products and more, McAlpine is regarded as one of the most interesting entrepreneurs at the forefront of the industry.
