“PBA Central was attended by Jill Freeman of the Oregon Coalition of Health Care Purchasers (OCHCP) last year,” said Susan Hayes, principal with Pharmacy Outcomes Specialists. “Jill believed that a similar program with local roots providing an open forum to discuss how employers and managed care organizations can implement best practices to manage the rising cost of pharmacy benefits would be beneficial on the west coast. We agreed and PBA West was born.”
