August 14, 2012 -- Logan Clausen, MD is joining Central Oregon Pediatric Associates (COPA) on Tuesday, August 14, bringing the total to 17 medical providers and specialists at COPA, Oregon’s largest pediatric practice outside the Portland metro area. Dr. Clausen is Board Certified in Pediatrics and will treat patients at all three COPA clinics in East Bend, West Bend and Redmond as well as St. Charles Hospital in Bend.
Dr. Clausen received her under graduate degree in Spanish Language and Literature from University of Colorado at Boulder. She attended medical school at Oregon Health & Science
University in Portland, and completed her residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. She is fluent in Spanish and embraces every opportunity she has to use it, especially with patients and their families.
Dr. Clausen chose pediatrics for the unique medical challenges that come with caring for children. She enjoys the constant variety in communicating with each child to uncover their individual emotional and physical well being. “I truly enjoy forming positive relationships with my patients and seeing the amazing process of development that is special to each child”, says Dr. Clausen, “I’m honored to join such a premier and experienced pediatric medical team and I’m especially eager to explore everything Bend has to offer”. Dr. Clausen noted she’s most impressed with the commitment COPA has provided to the children and families of Central Oregon for almost 40 years.

Dr. Clausen’s husband, Matt Clausen MD, is a St. Charles family practice physician. The Clausens and their dog, Kasha, plan to spend their free time in the Oregon outdoors, telemark skiing, biking, running, hiking, and camping.
