Patient Safety and Aviation Expert John Nance to Speak at OMA Event

The Oregon Medical Association and insurance carrier CNA will cohost Lessons for Patient Safety from the Aviation Industry: An Evening with John Nance. Author of the award-winning book Why Hospitals Should Fly and a founding member of the National Patient Safety Foundation at the AMA, he is a pioneering and wellknown advocate for applying lessons learned in aviation safety to patient safety performance throughout the health care industry.   One of America's most dynamic and entertaining professional speakers, he has logged countless appearances on national shows such as Larry King Live, The News Hour with Jim Lehrer, Oprah, NPR, Nova, The Today Show, and many others.
