Oregon Medical Association and Partners to Host Health Fair

WHAT: For the first time, OMA’s annual membership meeting will include a free health fair for uninsured and underinsured adults. From 8:00 until 3:00 on April 19 at the plaza of the Oregon Convention Center, attendees can get free medical screenings for diabetes glaucoma, and blood pressure, access urgent dental care, get information on eating healthy, learn about their personal health profile, talk with a pharmacist about their medications and more.   The list of participating groups and organizations who will be on the plaza on April 19 includes:   OHSU Medical and Physician Assistant Students Oregon Lions Sight and Hearing Foundation Kaiser Permanente Oregon Dental Association Oregon State University Extension Service Medical Teams International OHSU Let’s Get Healthy! Oregon State Pharmacy Association Oregon Society of Health System Pharmacists Oregon Health Authority: Immunize Oregon Coalition of Community Health Clinics Oregon Health Authority: Oregon AWARE Portland Farmers Market Lines for Life Other supporting organizations include Northwest Natural, the Portland Business Journal, Regence, Project Access NOW, Oregon Academy of Family Physicians, Oregon Primary Care Association, Medical Society of Metropolitan Portland, Oregon Society of Health System Pharmacists and Sellwood Medical Clinic.     When:   Friday, April 19, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM Where:   Oregon Convention Center plaza, NE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, between Pacific and Oregon streets.
