The Oregon Latino Health Coalition is a statewide health advocacy organization whose mission is to ensure and develop public policy that reduces health disparities and builds leadership within Latino and immigrant communities across Oregon. They are looking for a Safety Net Outreach Worker. This person will work directly with clients, families, and health care personnel to conduct outreach to uninsured children in Oregon. The outreach worker will be based in the community and will make use of best practices to extend assistance to eligible children and families and provide direct linkage and referral services to children who do not qualify for health insurance. They are also looking for a Deputy Director. They report to the Executive Director and provides leadership, management, and oversight to the implementation of the OLHC Mission, Vision, and Values. A passion for the mission and commitment to community-led health equity work and building an egalitarian, sustainable, multi-disciplinary community organization are essential.
