Oregon Health System to Close Women's Clinic Over Staffing Issues

Bend, Ore.-based St. Charles Health System administrators announced Monday that the system is closing the Center for Women's Health in Bend, according to The Bulletin.

Hospital administrators attributed the closure to staffing issues.

"For any of our clinical practices, to have sufficient staff to provide the level of care that we think our patients expect, we have to have it staffed appropriately," John Weinsheim, president of St. Charles Medical Group, told The Bulletin.
