Oregon Health Policy Board to Meet Sept. 10 in Portland

What: The Oregon Health Policy Board will hold its monthly meeting Sept. 10 in Portland. The board will review a “straw person” proposal from the Early Learning Council-OHPB joint subcommittee. The board will continue its work on Governor Kitzhaber’s request for recommendations about coordinated care model alignment and on strategies regarding cost shifting, decreasing premiums and increasing transparency and accountability. The board will hear an update on the first meeting of the coordinated care model alignment workgroup, followed by two presentations on rate review, transparency and affordability standards. There will be a facilitated board discussion about the Governor’s request and how to begin working on recommendations. Public testimony will be heard during the meeting, beginning at noon.

When: Tuesday, Sept. 10, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
