Oregon Health Policy Board to Meet October 1 in Portland

What: The Oregon Health Policy Board will hold its monthly meetingOctober 1 in Portland. The board will hear updates on Health Information Technology/Health Information Exchange work being done by the Oregon Health Authority (OHA); on the Public Employees’ Benefit Board (PEBB) request for proposal; and from the coordinated care model alignment work group. There will be a presentation on measurement framework and “all-payer, all-claims” data.

The board will also continue discussions about Governor Kitzhaber’s letter regarding cost shifting, decreasing premiums and increasing transparency and accountability, including a preliminary straw person proposal. The board will hear public and invited testimony, with public testimony beginning at 4:40 p.m.

When: Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, 1-5 p.m.

Where: Market Square Building, ninth floor, 1515 S.W. Fifth Ave. The meeting will also be available via live Web stream, and a recording of the meeting will be posted on the board’s meeting page.
