Oregon Health Policy Board to Hold Monthly Meeting Nov. 5 in Hood River

What: The Oregon Health Policy Board will hold its monthly meetingNov. 5 at the Hood River Inn (Best Western) in Hood River. The board will hear a report from the Columbia Gorge Coordinated Care Organization, as well as a presentation on the Health System Transformation November Quarterly Progress Report.

 

The board will also discuss two reports prepared in response to Governor Kitzhaber’s June letter. The letter asked that the board make recommendations on coordinated care model alignment and on strategies regarding cost shifting, decreasing premiums, and increasing transparency and accountability. As part of the reports, Oregon Health Authority staff will present an initial draft of a measurement framework and dashboard.

 

Public testimony will be heard during the meeting, beginning at 11:45.
