Oregon health care professionals invited to no-cost multi-state event: Be the Change: Strategies for Health Care Transformation

In-person and virtual event takes place Oct. 13 in Oregon, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah

Portland, Ore. — On Tuesday, October 13, from 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pacific Time, health care professionals from Oregon, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah will convene in person and online to learn from experts in health care quality about strategies to transform health care and improve patient outcomes.

Health care professionals from all care settings are invited to register at www.healthinsight.org/changeagents.

The event, titled Be the Change: Strategies for Health Care Transformation, includes a plenary session and a choice of three repeating breakout sessions covering various topics, including:

* Impacting patient outcomes in a pay-for-value environment

* Engaging patients and families in their care

* Building reliable care processes

* Using health information technology to improve patient outcomes

* Networking across organizations and disciplines

The event will be streamed online and to locations in the four participating states. Participants in Oregon can attend in person at Keizer Civic Center, 930 Chemawa Rd NE, in Keizer (Salem area) or join the meeting virtually from their desks.

Featured presenters include quality improvement experts from HealthInsight and other organizations. HealthInsight is the Medicare program’s Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) serving Oregon, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah, with Acumentra Health as its Oregon affiliate.
