The Oregon Clinic Welcomes Dr. Richard Busby to Plastic Surgery Division

The Oregon Clinic is pleased to welcome Richard C. Busby, MD to its plastic surgery group. Dr. Busby is board-certified in surgery and plastic surgery and ran his own private practice for more than 20 years. Dr. Busby works closely with referring  physicians for the removal of skin cancers, and focuses on reconstructive surgery (breast reconstruction, scar deformity), breast reduction, and cosmetic surgeries (abdominoplasty, facial  plastics, breast augmentation).    “I am thrilled to be joining the great physicians and staff at The Oregon Clinic. This move allows me to focus on my patients’ care and safety, while the capable staff handles administrative and technical details, including being up to date on the latest electronic medical records,” said Dr. Richard Busby.    Dr. Busby received his Bachelor of Science degree from University of Colorado in 1977, and went on to attend the University of Colorado Medical School. He completed both his surgical  internship and his residency in general surgery at the State University of New York Health Sciences Center in Syracuse, New York. In 1986, Dr. Busby moved to Portland for a two-year  residency in plastic surgery at Oregon Health & Science University. In 1988 he established a private practice in plastic surgery and earned a reputation for being down-to-earth, approachable, and very interested in listening to the hopes and concerns of his patients.    Dr. Busby belongs to a number of professional organizations including the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the Northwest Society of Plastic Surgery, Oregon Medical  Association, American Medical Association, and the Medical Society of Metropolitan Portland.     "Dr. Busby is an outstanding plastic surgeon who brings a wealth of experience as an expert in facial rejuvenation and body contouring. He will broaden our group’s ability to provide plastic surgical services to the greater Portland metropolitan area.
