The Oregon Clinic is seeking Health Information Management Manager to oversee its Medical Records Department, located in NE Portland. The Health Information Manager position will act as a working manager, providing leadership, and ensuring that the department functions in an efficient, organized manner. The HIM Manager will be the primary department liaison between clinic staff, patients and the public on medical records matters; including education and training of medical records standards, resolution of concerns from clinics and physicians, and development and communication of HIM service standards and protocols. Furthermore, this position organizes and directs all aspects of the department, including scheduling, disciplinary action, physician relations, customer service and special HIM related projects, while performing general duties associated with the department. If you have a solid background in hospital and clinic management, and an excellent record in customer service this might just be a great fit!
