Sept. 23, 2013 — The Oregon Clinic is expanding its Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) specialty care services to Vancouver, Wash. to provide residents of Clark County with easier access to world-class ENT physicians. The new clinic, inside the Mill Plain Medical Office Building, is now available for patient appointments on the first and third Mondays of each month. "Over the past few years we have seen an increased demand from patients and physicians for our services in Clark County. We are excited to be able to meet this demand and provide convenient access to high-quality ENT services at the Mill Plain location,” stated Justin Rufener, M.D., otolaryngologist with The Oregon Clinic. Otolaryngology, frequently referred to as Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT), combines medical and surgical expertise to care for patients with a variety of conditions affecting the head and neck, as well as commonly related conditions. The ENT specialists at The Oregon Clinic perform endoscopic sinus surgery, thyroid/parathyroid surgery, surgical oncology, reconstruction after Moh’s surgery (skin cancer), and head and neck surgery. They also diagnose and treat allergies and general head, neck, and sinus-related issues. The Oregon Clinic’s ENT specialists serving patients at the Vancouver, Wash. location are Michael Flaming, MD, Justin Rufener, MD, and Andrew Pedersen, MD. All three are board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and members of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy (AAOA) and American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. They currently practice at The Oregon Clinic’s ENT Plaza office in Portland. The three physicians will rotate through the new Vancouver clinic and be available to patients on the first and third Mondays of the month.
