The Oregon Chapter of HIMSS presents an interactive panel discussion on clinical device risk management and the unique challenges of managing a BYOD (Bring-Your-Own-Device) environment.
Panel members include: Steve Scott, ISO, St. Charles Health System, Andy Zechnich, Regional CMIO, Providence St Joseph Health, David Strickland, VP / Regional CIO, Kaiser Permanente – Northwest.
These data and security experts will share their approaches to finding the middle ground for BYOD – enabling data while maintaining its security and address key questions, such as:
- What is the value proposition for the user?
- How do you protect the data?
- What are the policies and solutions for the long-term balance of data access vs lock down?
