OHA selects FamilyCare Health Medical Director Dr. Anna Jimenez for Metrics and Scoring Committee

July 18, 2016

PORTLAND, Ore. (July 14, 2016) – FamilyCare Health is pleased to announce that Medical Director Anna Jimenez, MD, has been selected to serve on the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) Metrics and Scoring Committee. The two-year appointment begins in August 2016. Currently, the committee is charged with selecting 2017 benchmarks and improvement targets for Oregon’s Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs).

“I’m excited about the opportunity to work with OHA to help Oregon CCOs adequately and efficiently improve care,” said Dr. Jimenez. “Everyone deserves access to quality care, and I’m looking forward to playing a role in this committee’s important work.”

The committee was established by Senate Bill 1580 to identify objective outcome and quality measures for all health services provided by CCOs like FamilyCare Health. The metrics and quality measures are used by OHA to determine whether CCOs are making quality care accessible, eliminating health disparities, and controlling costs for the populations that they serve.

Dr. Jimenez joined FamilyCare Health as Medical Director in December 2015. Jimenez received her Master’s in Public Health from OHSU, and her MD from University of California – Irvine.
