PORTLAND, OR (December 6, 2016) – After an extensive search, the Boards of Directors of NARAL Pro-Choice Oregon and the Oregon Foundation for Reproductive Health Board are excited to announce Grayson Dempsey as our new Executive Director, beginning January 1st, 2017.
“Grayson's passion and years of experience advocating for access for all women to healthcare, including abortion services, make her an exceptional fit as Executive Director of NARAL Pro-Choice Oregon,” says Leslie O’Leary, NPCO Board President. “Grayson brings a wealth of talent and energy to our organization, and we look forward to her leadership.”
Grayson Dempsey has over seventeen years of experience in the reproductive rights and health movement. She is the Founder of Backline and served as its first President from 2004-2010. She has also worked as a consultant to prominent reproductive rights and health organizations across the country and has served on numerous Boards of Directors both locally and nationally. Her deep understanding of the issues that are most central to NARAL Pro-Choice Oregon and the Oregon Foundation for Reproductive Health, as well as her passion for protecting and expanding the rights of all women, make her an ideal candidate to lead both organizations in their vital missions and work.

NARAL Pro-Choice Oregon (NPCO) is dedicated to developing and sustaining a constituency that uses the political process to guarantee every woman the right to make personal decisions regarding the full range of reproductive choices, including preventing unintended pregnancy, bearing healthy children, and choosing legal abortion.
Oregon Foundation for Reproductive Health (OFRH) is dedicated to improving access to comprehensive reproductive health care, such as preventing unintended pregnancy and planning healthy families. We are committed to advancing reproductive rights and advocating for reproductive health equity in all Oregon communities.
