April 23, 2013 -- Drew McWilliams, MS Ed, has been named Chief Executive Officer of Morrison Child and Family Services. McWilliams will assume his role as CEO on June 1, 2013.
McWilliams replaces Tia Gray, who is in her 7th year as CEO for Morrison. Ms. Gray has accepted the position of President/CEO of Gulf Coast Jewish Family & Community Services in Clearwater, Florida.
For the past five years McWilliams has served as Morrison's Chief Operating Officer. He joined Morrison Child and Family Services in 1998 as the Director of Outpatient Services. Drew will be the sixth CEO in Morrison's 66-year history.
"I'm thrilled to take on this new position with Morrison," McWilliams said. "My vision for Morrison is to utilize the vast knowledge and experience of our staff, families and community partners to meet the increasing demands for effective children's mental health and addiction services with passion, clarity and grace."
Prior to joining Morrison, McWilliams spent 10 years as Service Director at The Village for Families and Children Inc. in Connecticut.
McWilliams received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Psychology from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, and earned his Master of Education in Social Agencies Counseling from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. He has been a mental health and substance abuse professional for over the past 30 years.
