Kids love to go to the Clark County Fair, but not all children who want to go on the rides, eat cotton candy, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the fair are medically able to do so.
That's where Memory Makers comes in.
Consisting of paramedics from Firefighters Local 1805, these skilled medical angels from Clark County Fire District 6 provide constant help to medically fragile kids so they and their family can enjoy the fair.
Seven-year-old Gabriel Romero is today's Memory Maker recipient.
HIPPA laws prevent us from disclosing Gabriel's specific medical needs, but suffice it to say that without guardian paramedics nearby there would be no way he could attend the fair.
This is a feel-good human interest story of people helping others, and you're invited to share this heartwarming tale.
Gabriel, his family, and Memory Makers personnel will meet at the Clark County Fairgrounds today at 10 a.m. They will be at the fair until 2 p.m.
