Legacy-GoHealth Urgent Care clinic opens new location on N. Williams

November 18, 2015

Portland, Oregon – November 20, 2015 – Legacy-GoHealth Urgent Care continues its expansion in the Portland metro area, opening its eighth urgent care clinic. The clinic is located near Fremont on N. Williams across from New Seasons Market. The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM to 5:00PM.

“We look forward to further serving the needs of North and Northeast Portland neighbors while bringing high quality, Legacy-backed health care to this community,” said Gregory Carroll, MD, President of Legacy-GoHealth Urgent Care.

To celebrate our opening Legacy-GoHealth is hosting an enter-to-win raffle, collecting entries from November 20th to December 5th at the new N. Williams center. The prize is a holiday adventure package for four in Hood River. Ride the Polar Express at 2:00 PM on December 12th, have a casual dinner and entertainment for the kids, an overnight stay at the Mt. Hood Inn overlooking the river, and a hot breakfast provided the next day. Winners will be announced and the winning family notified at the N. Williams community open house on Saturday, December 5th.

Located near the Legacy Emanuel Medical Center campus, the new location is easily accessible for residents and bike commuters who need quick, convenient medical care on their way home from school and work.

“We care about our community and its residents, which is why we are so pleased with this fantastic partnership,” said Lori Morgan, MD, MBA, chief administrative officer at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center. “We hope this provides another option for quick and urgent care when our neighbors need it the most.”

Legacy-GoHealth has seven other convenient locations with extended evening and weekend hours, all accepting online appointments and walk-in patients. Legacy-GoHealth provides on-site X-ray, laboratory services, DOT physical exams, sports physical exams, and care for a variety of illnesses and injuries (including fractures, abscesses, and lacerations).

The clinics accept most health insurance, including commercial insurance, medicare/medicaid and workers’ compensation. Additionally, affordable same-day rates are available for those without health insurance to ensure that all people are able to receive the highest level of medical care.
