Are you interested in learning more about leadership opportunities for health professions students at PSU and OHSU? Looking for a way to connect with students and members of your community around improving the quality and safety of health care?

If so, please join the PSU & OHSU Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Open School Chapter for our February Meet & Greet!

Connect and network with your fellow students over free appetizers and learn how you can engage with our chapter.

When: Monday, February 17, 2014 5:30-7:30pm

Where: Rogue Hall on PSU Campus, 1717 SW Park Ave. *** Free appetizers provided for those in attendance***

Who: Students, faculty, healthcare professionals, and community members. Send this invite to your friends. Better yet, bring them with you!

Why: The IHI Open School fills an educational void for health professional students by providing free online curriculum modules and hands-on learning opportunities focused on patient safety and quality improvement. As students in Oregon, we are committed to increasing access, decreasing error, and improving the quality of health and health services in our community through a collaborative interprofessional network. Our local chapter is part of an international movement that recognizes that we are all patients at some point, and that patients should come first.

Join us to become involved and make this a reality together. Meet the leadership team and chapter members to learn more about the Open School, what it can do for you, and how you can get involved. We are excited to share information about leadership and professional development opportunities our Chapter facilitates with interested students.
