Some local Companies are taking action to make sure their employees have a positive, work-life balance, and Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici (D-OR) is supporting federal legislation to encourage more companies to implement paid sick leave, pay equity, alternative work schedules, health and wellness programs, and other policies to support a healthier, happier, and more productive workforce.
Just days before Labor Day, on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 8:00am, Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici (D-OR) will recognize the efforts of local employers at a roundtable discussion on what can be done to expand work wellness programs and ensure equitable policies for all employees. The event will occur at Ruby Receptionists 1331 NW Lovejoy St, Suite #875, in Portland, Oregon. Ruby Receptionists is consistently ranked as one of the best companies to work for in America.
