Kirk Schueler Named Chief Financial Officer

Mosaic Medical is pleased to announce that Kirk Schueler has been named Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for our nonprofit community health center system.

Kirk, who is a long time Central Oregon resident, brings extensive business management experience to Mosaic Medical. After receiving his degree in accounting from the University of Oregon, Kirk spent several years working in San Jose and Portland with KPMG before accepting a position at Brooks Resources Corporation in Bend. He remained at Brooks Resources for 17 years working as controller, chief financial officer and then as president. In 2010 Kirk took on the role of chief administrative officer at St. Charles. Kirk believes strongly in the mission of Mosaic Medical and was a member of the Mosaic Medical board of directors before accepting the position of CFO. He says, “I greatly appreciate the opportunity to work with an organization like Mosaic Medical. I am excited to serve this organization and its mission to provide access to healthcare for all”.

Mosaic Medical Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Megan Haase states, “We are honored to have Kirk join our executive team as CFO. Kirk brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Mosaic Medical. In addition, his passion for our organization and providing quality healthcare for everyone in Central Oregon will help lead us through this time of growth.”

Additionally, Mosaic Medical serves the community with four school-based health centers and a mobile clinic program. Our fees are based on a sliding scale for qualifying patients with limited or no insurance and we accept private insurance, OHP and Medicare.
